Luckily for us macOS users, EA has made Sims available to play right on MacOS. Getting it set up is simple and pain-free. You won’t have to go through the rigamarole you might have to for other large franchises like Call of Duty or Fortnite. 

All you need to do is create an EA account here and download the EA App. To install the App, you will need OSX 10.9 or newer and at least an Intel Core Duo chipset. If you want to check to see if you meet these minimum requirements, follow the steps below!

To see which chipset you have, navigate to the small Apple logo on the top left of your screen and select “About this Mac.” It will also show you which OSX version you have. My Current one is 13.0.1.
